Privacy notice
This planner is run by Osman Elmoghraby, a freelance web developer based in the UK (“I”, “me”). The calculator works entirely in your browser: nothing you choose in it is sent anywhere until you ask for the PDF brief.
What I collect
When you download the brief, I collect:
- your name, your council and your email address
- whether you ticked the box to share your details with pump track builders
- the options you chose in the calculator and the estimate it produced
- the date and time, your browser's user agent and the country your request came from
I do not use cookies. Visitor numbers are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other sites.
Why I collect it
- to know which councils are planning a pump track, and to follow up if you have questions
- to understand how the planner is used, so I can improve it
- if you ticked the box, to pass your details to builders so they can quote
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running and improving this free tool and responding to enquiries. Sharing with builders is based on your consent.
Who sees your details
Builders only receive your details if you ticked the consent box. If you did, I will share them with no more than three UK pump track builders so they can contact you about a quote. If you did not tick the box, your details are not shared with anyone.
Your details are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site and sends me an email notification. Cloudflare acts as my processor and may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long I keep it
Leads are deleted automatically 12 months after you submit them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent to share them with builders, at any time. Email hello@osmanelmo.com. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
